Meet Our Chiropractors at Thrive Wellness Chiropractic
Dr Dave Rankin, DC
After completing my Master’s degree in chiropractic in my hometown in South Africa, I made the leap to the United Kingdom to further my experience in both family-based care and sports injury management. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with Olympic athletes across multiple Games, including London 2012, Rio 2016, and Paris 2024, helping them perform at their very best.
Today, my focus extends beyond sport. I’m passionate about helping people from all walks of life understand how chiropractic care can enhance long-term health and wellbeing, from children and seniors to weekend warriors and professional athletes alike.

As a mum of two energetic boys, I have a special interest in paediatric chiropractic and love supporting little ones as they grow healthy and strong. My approach blends science, empathy, and a genuine love for people, creating a comfortable and caring space for every patient.
Before mastering spines, I mastered balance! I’ve won awards in both gymnastics and piano, and as a lifelong basketball enthusiast, you’ll often find me cheering from the sidelines. I truly believe movement is the key to a happy, thriving life and I’m here to help you move better, feel stronger, and live well.

I’m also a huge foodie and love exploring new flavours and cuisines, so if you have any great food recommendations, I’m all ears!
While people often describe me as calm, focused, and professional, there’s also a fun, easy-going side to me. I love to connect with people, share a laugh, and make sure my practice members always feel comfortable and at ease. Don’t worry, I promise I don’t bite!

Dr Angharad Neal, DC
I first discovered chiropractic care as a teenager and was amazed by how much it helped me. That experience inspired me to study at the University of South Wales, where I completed my Master’s degree in Chiropractic.
I’m passionate about helping people unlock their full potential and live healthier, more comfortable lives through natural, hands-on care. I take a holistic approach, recognising how physical, emotional, and chemical stress can all affect the body. My focus is always on supporting your body’s ability to heal, move freely, and function at its best.
Outside the clinic, I love staying active at the gym, exploring Manchester’s live music scene, and spending time outdoors.

Dr Melvin Ralekwa, DC
My journey into healthcare began at a very young age. With my mum working as a nurse and my preschool right next to her clinic, I spent countless hours watching people being cared for and helped. Those early experiences sparked my passion for healing and set me on the path to becoming a doctor.
I earned my Master’s degree in Chiropractic in 2010 and went on to open my own practice in Pretoria, South Africa. Over the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of patients, gaining a deep appreciation for both the art and science behind chiropractic care.
In 2021, I moved to the UK to broaden my horizons and continue learning within the profession, a decision that’s brought so much growth and inspiration. I’m continually amazed by how a single adjustment can influence the body’s nervous system and overall wellbeing, and I feel grateful every day to be doing what I love.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and daughter, who constantly remind me of the importance of balance and connection, in health and in life.
